I spent 4 days over xmas in Mildura staying with my mum. I was bored stupidd as usual, xmas day was spent at my sisters with my extennded family and I might as well have not been their, ignored mostly and nothing I said or have done is good enough. I managed to only take a couple of photos. One photo is off the ancestral home buiilt by my great grandfather and where my mum lived until she got married, it was sold long before I was born so I have never seen inside..

The only way is up!

Wow, I woke up with a hangover and not feeling great but I had a fantastic night out, not sure about the $20. martini though. Met some new people and some I already new so had a great time, but all that walking from bar to bar i have blisters.

This year is almost at an end and finally some good is happening. I don't have to move house, a freind of mine has bought this place as an investment and I can stay on as the tenant indefinately. I can also get a gate put up and look at getting a dog. this is fantastic.

Time for me to go and eat and have lots of water to make me feel better.

TGIF

I ve had a much better day today. Dropped my kids at school and went to the gym and took out all my frustrations there. Good way to make you feel better.

Then I went and puchased my daughters books for high school, I can't believe it is 12 years since she was born, a lot has happened in that time.

Tonight I am going on a mystery bar tout in the city so I best have some money on me, it will be fun catching up with a few people I know and having a drink before xmas. Hope I don't have to much of a hangover in the morning.

Tears

I cried myself to sleep last night, and I woke this morning still crying. Why do I put myself out there to meet guys and they cant even take the time to get to know me. I ended my day with a great xmas dinner with some ladies that I have known for years and we had a fantastic time but even they don't know deep down how I feel, they have all been married for a long time. I know they would say to me don't worry about men you don't need them and yes to a certain extent I don't need a man. I don't portray myself as anything other than a caring, loyal person who has a life but also has a lot of love to give. Like any body my life doesnt flow smoothly and Ive had the odd stressfull moment throughout the year and with the year about to close I am hoping for a much brighter better year next year and if that means another year of putting all my love towards my kids then so be it.

Daylesford, view from the Convent window

Yesterday I went to Daylesford, the temperature was 42c and the bushfires where raging in the north east and there was a blanket of the smoke accross the sky. I went to cricket willow and they where playing a cricket match in the heat. I will go back again in autumn after rain so I can go and photograph Sailors falls, Trentham falls and the blowhole. Mt Franklin will also look great in Autumn.
