Week in review
Well what a crap week i have just had and its not over yet. Last saturday I found a lump in my breast, and had to wait till tuesday to get to see my doctor. Straight away she sends me off to have ultrasound and mamogram. I had to wait till the saturday to get my results. I went today to see her and get those results. She said that the tests didnt even detect the lump, she checked me again and as the lump was still there she wants it checked out more thoroughly so I have to ring on monday and get an appointment with a breast specialist. Love the way they tell you not to stress about it.
Also on thursday I parted company with the place i was working for, I hadnt felt like i fitted it. What was supposed to be a full time job was only 3 days and with no hint of it ever going full time. There reasoning was my computer skills shere not good enough which to me is bullshit. I went in there having never worked in the building industry and they new that, and i went in there for reception/ admin not as office manager as I have never been an office manager but have 20 years experience in various duties in an office. I was only thinking the day before how bored I was with the job and how I wasnt being made to feel like i fit in. How are you supposed to run and office if you dont know half of what they are doing, not knowing when they will have money to pay there accts etc. Well stuff them I say. Little firms with not much business and HR skills are not my cup of tea.
Next weekend I am of to Apollo Bay for 4 days, just me, my camera gear and some wine. Staying in a nice cabin with a view of the southern ocean. Give me time to take lots of amazing photos and to asses what I want to do career wise. I work part time already and have had that job for 10 years with no complaints, problem is it's a voluntary job and that wont pay the bills.
More posts and pictures after my weekend away. Maybe just pictures of empty wine bottles on the deck with the southern ocean in the background at sunset. lol
